How to make the best kale chips ever

I absolutely never thought I’d google how to make kale chips but I did and I love the result. Kale makes my 2nd brain (aka my stomach) feel oh so good!.

Here’s my easy recipe for a healthy snack.


  • 1 head of kale
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Pull kale away from stem, wash and pat dry (make sure your kale is super dry so it doesn’t steam in the oven) with a clean towel.
  3. In a large mixing bowl using your hands, mix the kale, olive oil and sea salt together.
  4. Lay kale out in a single layer on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake for 15 – 20 minutes. Check to see how they’re doing. If they’re still soft, continue baking, checking every 5 minutes until crispy.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. Then eat immediately!
