Repaying My Student Loans | Financial Accountability

L E T me tell you something about accountability + accountability partners. When you have them you succeed. I want to succeed. Last year I went on a quest to repay 160k in student loan debt. TO DATE I have paid $52,345 in student loans 😒😃

I’m scared, I’m proud, I’m overwhelmed, I’m uncomfortable, I’m confused, I’m grateful and right now I just wanna quit.

I have until Feb 23, 2015 to complete my quest. I’ve evaluated my progress and I know I’m not going to reach my goal so I’ve extended my goal date to January 15, 2016. Which gives me another 12 months to repay all my student loans.

CHALLENGES
1. Mental Toughness
2. Willpower
3. Income

How I intend to overcome said challenges?

1. Buying an accountability partner
2. Constructing a culture that supports my ambition
3. Increasing my income

INSERT: Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.

The course is 3 glorious months of financial accountability, education, and support. 🙌

You may be thinking why do you need a course, you’re doing well all by yourself, just keep going.

Truth is I’m exhausted and I want to give up. What I know for sure is …I’m nearing my breaking point.

There is a part of me that says you’ve done enough girl! Give yourself a high five and let this quest go.

But the other part of me is like … I want to make love to my husband debt free and send my kiddos plus seven nieces to college with ease. Keep going Stacey.

I’ve realized that the only way to construct the world I want is if I humble myself and ask for help. Not just any help but help from the right people, at the right time, in the right place.

Financial Peace University will give me an instructor, textbooks, and classmates all of which will serve as much needed next level Accountability!!!

I need accountability right now.

What is accountability?

Accountability is being held answerable to accomplishing a goal!

I want to succeed! I must succeed!

Smile,
Stacey
