Words mean the world to me.
I believe happiness is the point of our existence, and therapy changed my life.
My work is to help you create real happiness.
I do this as a speaker, writer, coach, and podcast host.
Hello, I’m Stacey!
When I’m not onstage or offering strategy to my coaching clients, you can find me indulging in my favorite things, which include homemaking for my handsome husband and our two amazing humans (my 22-year-old son and my newborn daughter).
Teaching humans the truth that happiness cannot be found but must be created…
I didn’t always have the time freedom to enjoy my life and hobbies, trauma therapy, gaining financial dignity, and significant personal growth, I reimagined the life that was offered and expected of me. Those expectations were barely enough to fit into the palm of my hand.
I chose to set my expectations high, initially dreaming of becoming a C-suite executive at a major Fortune 500 company. As a first-generation college student, I earned my bachelor's in Paralegal Studies from the College of Saint Mary, a single-sex educational environment that dramatically improved my life. I went on to earn my master's in Human Resources from Loyola University Chicago, a prestigious PWI with two campuses spread across my favorite city: Chicago.
After graduation, I was hired as a Human Resources Specialist in Training Development—the first step in my corporate climb to a corner office. I thought I had landed my dream job, but that dream turned into a stifling of my strengths, skills, and ambitions.
A few months into my position, I quit and started a boutique HR consulting firm, designing and delivering training programs for clients like Aldi, Pepsi, and Deloitte. While running a successful firm fueled my entrepreneurial cravings, it didn’t quite fit my heart’s desire to help more people, both personally and professionally.
After a year and a half of consulting, I decided to pursue the personal development industry full-time.
Transforming lives through the power of words.
I created a speaking business that has evolved into my dream career over the last decade. Speaking engagements took me from Rwanda, Africa to Nassau, Bahamas, where I’ve shared messages about happiness.
When I delivered my TEDx Talk on "The Five Key People You Need to Be Happy," it hit a million views, and my intention of spreading happiness worldwide was realized as my speech was translated into over 17 different languages.
Whether addressing an intimate audience of five or an arena of five thousand, I love helping people transform their lives for the better with my message.
When my audience asked for more help, I started a coaching practice offering premium one-on-one coaching for high-achieving individuals like you, helping you manage your big dreams and master intentional living. I also created a group coaching experience for anyone who wants to live happily and abundantly!
They say hindsight is 20/20
In retrospect, I probably should have known that the little girl who loved playing teacher, talk show host, and reading would build businesses using words to help others achieve their dreams. But I wasn’t born knowing how to do this.
I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, on the economically depressed side of a very small city, where my mom taught me how to be resourceful. She encouraged me to find answers to my questions and to make a way in the face of any obstacle.
My inherited resourcefulness, combined with an unshakable optimism and enthusiasm for life, set me on a path to carve out success for myself and others.
My mission is to give you the tools to intentionally create a life that makes you happy.
When I’m not on stage giving a speech, you’ll find me cooking from scratch or recording a podcast.
As Oprah would say, I want you to live your best life. I love walking with people as they find the right therapist to help them heal while simultaneously harnessing the power to regulate their emotions and manage their lives.
Teaching humans the truth that happiness cannot be found but must be created fulfills me deeply.
If you’re new around here, I believe you’re amazing, and everything about you—the good, the so-called ugly, and the bad—all makes sense in the context of your story and the dreams you’ve put on the shelf.
I am here to teach.
My company is built on a foundation of patience, perseverance, and possibility.
Through my podcast and social media platforms, I hope you find insights you can put into action to change your life for the better. When you’re ready to work with me know that I am deeply grateful you’ve trusted me to help you change your life.
With gratitude,
Stacey
